Come up with ways to reduce overall cost of a project ensuring best value for money. Measure and value work done on site. Undergo Quantity Take-Off and Plan interpretation. Prepares vendor comparative analysis. Carry out monthly valuation of work in progress including forecasting of final cost and sales.

The Billing Engineer prepares measurement sheet from onsite data & drawings. Prepare bills of quantities and bills with rates from Tender. He will be in-charge of the bills certified by the client. He will also prepare and process subcontractor bills and conduct site verification of measurement and rates with Tender. Review of bills of quantities and items lists and ensure accurate and efficient billing at the different stage of construction works.

Planning Engineer studies the plans and specification "approved for Construction" and coordinate these with the Manpower Equipment mobilization/demobilization, and schedule of activities as submitted during the Pre- Qualification/bidding process. Prepares manpower and equipment loading schedule based on the actual site conditions and specifications. In-charge of preparing sequences of activities for the implementation of the project based on actual site conditions and the plans and specifications and responsible for monitoring progress of work and compares this with the approved schedule.

Must be able to interpret rebar cutting list, handle and monitor cutting list preparation and regular monitoring of quantity of rebar in the site. Shall monitor on-going cutting list take-off.

Preparation of calculations as per design and specifications of the project is one of his main responsibilities. Prepares conversion of conventional cast-in-place concrete to precast system. Shall do the preparation of drawings of site temporary structures. Conduct technical reviews of structural drawings and coordinate with the team in the preparation of document deliverables. Provide technical assistance to project team and identify structural issues.

Prepares shop drawings and methodology as required by the Tender and Project Team within the given schedule. Evaluates and checks complex design documents: design criteria, design reports, technical provisions, technical data sheets, plans, calculation sheets and other documents.
